Angus Mitchell Salon ~ Beverly Hills To Host A ‘Tornado Relief Cut-A-Thon’ On July 10^th

Angus Mitchell and his Angus Mitchell Salon ~ Beverly Hills staff will be holding a ‘Tornado Relief Cut-A-Thon’ on Sunday, July 10 from 10 AM to 2 PM to help the American Red Cross raise money for the victims of the Joplin, Missouri tornado disaster. When staff hair designer David Dennis learned that his family’s home was destroyed as a result of the May 22 tornado in Joplin, Missouri, Angus Mitchell and his staff team became determined to help create hope after the storm. All proceeds will be going directly to the American Red Cross’ relief efforts in Joplin.

Angus Mitchell noted, “We have all been moved by the heartbreaking images and stories coming out of Joplin. This disaster particularly hits close to home for us as David’s family house was destroyed by the tornado. We hope everyone will come out and help make a difference in the lives of those in need as well as to share charitable donations targeted to help these people.” Angus Mitchell has always generously shared his support for local and national charitable programs on a personal and professional level.

The May 22, the EF-4 tornado took the lives of more than 116 people, leaving hundreds more homeless. With more than an estimated $3 billion needed to rebuild the city of Joplin, a full recovery will take several years. To help with this recovery and to provide essential aid to those who have been displaced by this tragic event, the Angus Mitchell Salon ~ Beverly Hills plans to donate all proceeds from their upcoming Cut-A-Thon, while offering attendees haircuts and hairstyles at a very special discounted rate. There will be at least one surprise celebrity guest that will take part in the day’s events.
